The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the first vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in the United States, the agency announced May 3. Arexvy, manufactured by GSK, is the world's first RSVvaccine for adults aged 60 years and older, the company said in an announcement.
