There have been updates to PHO 20-20 as well as the Residential Care Facility (RCF) Comprehensive Mitigation Guidance Document.
I suggest you read BOTH. I have outlined much of the important information and provided links to the documents below. I believe that we will still need to schedule the indoor visits, physical distance, wear masks, and follow good infection control protocols. There is some information about allowing vaccinated residents to hug or hold hands with visitors but otherwise infection control parameters are very similar to previous guidance…..I think.
I anticipate that there will be a summary of the changes at the CDPHE LTC call his week that may help us interpret this new guidance.
