When faced with a life threatening situation there are those that will fight and those that will choose flight. There are those that would save themselves and there are those that would stand in front of the elderly man/woman and protect him/her while putting their own life in jeopardy. Some will choose flight and individualism over the common good. Wisdom is recognizing the right thing to do. Courage is doing it.
